My DD has mild colic, which i believe is just an underdeveloped digestive system. Anyway, I radically altered my diet- no dairy, wheat, caffine. You can re-introduce them one at a time to determine if one is a problem for your babes tummy. I also gave her some chamomilla, a homeopathic remedy to help her relax, and some mint tea. You can also do some tummy message to help her tummy relax and move things thru. Some times gas drops may help too.
Have you tried any of the above?
I have tired a product called gripe water it is sodium bicarbonate, fennel and ginger it seems to help sometimes. Other times nothing helps except letting him nurse for comfort, this relaxes him and sometimes puts him to sleep. I'm going to try cutting dairy out of my diet for 10 days and see if that does anything. Thanks ladies for the insight. The website helped a lot too, great site.
Just a quick point to make. Why cut out dairy for 10 days? the rec is 4 weeks, 2 to get out of your system, 2 more to get out of baby's.

If it is dairy, you may see some improvement before this. Watch for hidden dairy in processed foods. Whey and sodium caseinate are dairy by-products.
