I am suddenly very gassy. It is very foul-smelling. I can't believe I am telling you this. haha! I checked out the info I got from the doc's office and I don't see anything I can take for gas. Is Gas-X safe? I can hardly stand myself. Thanks! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/grossedout.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="gross">

Gas-X is safe and actually works for me, but I've also found that it can constipate me, so unless I'm in terrible pain and needing to be away from a toilet for awhile (necessary errands, etc.) I don't take it. My stomach is extremely sensitive though, so take that with a grain of salt. I'm sure it doesn't affect everyone that way.

It's usually connected to something you've eaten. Try and give it some time and go without meds --- unless of course you're afraid office mates will smell you!
