Poor you, having to live in paradise.
Y'know, knitted woolies are the consolation prize for those of us who have to suffer through winter. :LOL

There is a knit along in th ecrafts forum, under yarn crafts


I want to make one but I am afraid ds might be too heavy for one this fall?He will be about a year and a half

: I am so glad the title of this thread caught my eye. That is the coolest poncho for baby-wearing and would have been so perfect this winter! I dont know if my dd will be too big for something like that by the time winter rolls around again, but it would be a fun project! Thank you for pointing it out, it looks like a cool website too!
hmmmmm,
you know a really lightweight yarn could make that a good poncho for breezy summer weather maybe.....

I've been "working" on one since the pattern came out months ago. My baby is going to be one next month! I had to stop to do a bunch of sewing
The weather has even been cool enough to wear it!

I'm a burly babywearing mama though, and my baby is pretty light. I will finish this for fall, and may my fingers fall off if I don't! lol
