Hope this okay to put here....I can't think of a better target audience.

My son is Peanut, Soy, Treenut, Dairy, Eggs, Gluten, Rice, and more free. I have resorted to making EVERYTHING from scratch - often investing new recipes for things like cookies and treats.

Lately I have been making up easter candy (using the Enjoy Life chocolate - thank goodness for them!) - sunbutter cups, wannabe crunch eggs using toasted puffed millet, wannabe mounds bars, cups of coconut and raisins (instead of nut cups), solid choc. lollipops shaped like bunnies, etc....

Everything is organic or atleast all natural.

Dh and other family are constantly urging me to write a cookbook or sell soem fo my treats....I would love to share my stuff with other moms who are in the same situation - it is impossible to find chocolates or cookies that are free of multiple allergens. I could easily alter my flour recipe to make baked things potato or corn free too....

But I don't know how to find out it there is even a market for it....or how to access that market (aside from posting here)....
For now I added a blur to my siggy - but I am not active enough on any boards (too busy spending hours in teh kitchen every day!)....

I figured this is probably my best target audience - so I am asking you ladies - would any of you be interested in this kind of product?

any specific kind of chocolate candy you are interested in?

I have already managed to recreate any kind of choc. Loliipop, peanutbutter cups using sunbutter, mock crunch bars, and mock Mounds bars....I am trying to figure out a way to recreate the peppermint filling of York Peppermint patties....Today I am going to attempt some Choc. covered raisins.

I think that's wonderful that you have cooked such thing for your child and want to share them with others!

Unfortunately my child is allergic to chocolate. She can have artificial flavors, so chocolate Dum Dum's are okay. I would love to know where to find an artificial chocolate flavor that I can add to baked goods because she loves the Dum Dums.

I was watching Martha Stewart show a couple weeks back and they had on the mom and son behind Divvies, an allergy free bakery in NY state. I'm guessing if there's enough call for it up there, there is likely to be a market for it in Florida, too!
Good luck, mama!

The Divvies are cool - but still contain soy and wheat - two of our Biggie allergies.

PMing the two mamas who said they were interested - maybe you'd be interested in "testing" some stuff for me

cookies are **** in the early stages - I am trying to get a hold of someone from Spectrum to confirm that their palm oil shortening is not processed with peanuts or treenut (some of their stuff is labelled with allergen alerts and some is not - I cold call EVERYTHING).

I do have quinoa choc. chip cookies (like a mock oatmeal choc chip cookie) and a sunbutter cookie (like a mock peanut butter cookie) - I personally like the sunbutter choc chip cookie - YUM!

I have a Testers price list and product description put together.... PM for a copy of it.
