Just wondering what others have experienced? I don't remember having any dreams that revealed the gender of my DS2 (DS1 is adopted). But a few nights ago I had a dream where everyone wanted to "see" my baby ... so I would pull my uterus out and show them (my uterus was transparent) ... <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"> Ok, so that part is a little weird, but as I would turn the baby around for them to see, he was obviously a little boy ... I really haven't had a strong feeling one way or the other for gender so just curious if others have had dreams that correctly predicted the gender, or not? Not a scientifically proven method obviously, just my own curiosity. Everyone in my family is holding out for a girl since if this one is a boy it would mean twice as many boy cousins as girls ... I'm fine either way and really don't have a strong suspicion one way or the other. But I'm sure I'll have to find out come US time in about three weeks since I like to be able to plan ... and then they want to do another US closer to delivery since my DS2 had the cord wrapped twice and ended up in emerg. c/s, so that would be two opportunities to "see" and I'm sure I couldn't hold out through both of them ...<br><br>
Anyone else have these kind of dreams? Were they right?

I've been dreaming right along that I'm having a little boy. Usually Tater (yes, as it tater tot, my cousin called my baby that when I was 6 weeks pregnant, and it stuck) talks to me right through my stomach in my dreams.<br><br>
I'll find out if my dreams have been right in 3 weeks at my ultrasound, if the baby is willing to share.

Yes! With dc#1, a baby spirit came to me (actually in a dream) and mentioned something about a son. This was before I knew I was pregnant, and at that time I had never even had a thought or wish for kids- didn't think I'd have them, ever! Shortly after that we found out I was pregnant, and I never at one time doubted it was a boy. We waited until he was born to find out, and he was!<br>
With this pregnancy, things were confusing as first, as there just seemed to be a boy and girl energy but only one baby. So I've been asking my baby to come to me and tell me about itself. I was relaxing last weekend and a very definite girl spirit came to me, showed me herself (energetically), and left. So I am without a doubt with a girl this time, I believe!

Well I've had at least one dream that I'm having a boy and one that I'm having a girl. So one of them is wrong! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"> My gut says boy but I've been wrong before!

with both my bio son and daughter, i *knew* their gender, and by the eighth month i *knew* their full names. dh didn't believe me... his joke was that he didn't make girls. the last laugh was on him in the delivery room! he swore that i must have asked at the ultrasound when he wasn't paying attention~ i didn't!<br><br>
this time i've had 2 dreams of a baby girl. in one i was nursing her. i hope that i have it right again this time... the girls are outnumbered around here!!

I'm wondering about this too. With dd, I had a first tri- dream where I saw her face at about 4 years old. Even after that though, I let dh convince me it was a boy. This time, I had a vision a couple of nights ago of my dd at about 4 with another girl who was older and I could only see from the back. But dd's face was weird, different. And it occured to me that maybe the face was that of a younger daughter and dd was the girl I saw from the back maybe??<br><br>
We have an ultrasound on May 9th so we'll see! Let us know whether your uterus dream was right (the gender part not the uterus-showing part<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/redface.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Embarrassment"> )<br><br>

Last time I had about equal boy/girl dreams. I knew he was a boy, and he was.<br><br>
This time I haven't had any baby dreams. I have feeling, I think it's because I'm afraid to, in case I'm wrong and then feel guilty for thinking of the wrong gender. I'll be happy either way but don't want to count on one or the other I guess. I think we'll find out at the u/s.

The night/morning I concieved I woke up at 1:30 in the morning. I just had this thought/voice in my head that very clearly and confidently said "I am pregnant. It's a boy" Then I went back to sleep.<br><br>
I/the voice was half right, we'll find out in Oct if the rest is true....<br><br>
For that reason alone I think it's a boy, DH thinks it's a girl and neither of us cares either way.
