Can anyone recommend a good/kind/gentle pediatric dentist practice around here for a 3.5 year old's first trip to the dentist? My husband's new job does not offer dental coverage, so if you happen to know how much a cleaning (at least) will run me, I'd appreciate it.

not in manhattan, but if you are able to come out to queens i know a holistic dentist who is very gentle in jackson heights. no idea about a cleaning cost, tho.
