Do you think this is a good deal? Would I be able to have a shopping cart here? It looks easy to set up, and that is my main concern right now...I'm not planning on actually selling on line for a while, but want to have something set up for my store(B&M).

I am a computer dunce, seriously. How would I know if there is a shopping cart system?

TIA for any help you can offer!

I'm not sure if I am correct or not, but make sure that geocities allows "commercial" or business websites. They used to not allow business websites on their free plan, but I haven't researched this in a while.

I just signed up with wahmshoppes.com and that is only $6 a month and you can add a shopping cart later if you want (for free). Pretty cheap if you ask me.

and I really like them! It is easy to use, and set up, they are almost never down, no ads and you can add domains, registrations com with your package. It was $96 a year (7.95 a month?) I paid for the year, and do every year. Anyway you get a TON of space, LOTS of bandwitdh, free shopping cart (you might need someone to set it up for you, but once it is up it is easy to run), and tons of e-mails (POP ones). www.ipowerweb.com LMK if you would like more info, I personally HATE geocities, it is slow and a PITA even on a cable modem. Homestead used to have a good program, but I haven't checked them out in a long while, their site builder was really easy to use for newbies that don't know much HTML.

On that note, if you need help let me know, I love doing that type of stuff! ~
