I am finding that since Devon is now quite longer, she is resisting the exercise where she has to work her trunk. Her OT is not worried, since she is doing everything else he is getting her to do. He said he sees this a lot as children grow bigger.

***Oh, inchstone alert*** Devon can now bear weight on her legs with minimal support for balance on her butt and I press her knees in to her her straight.
Oh, you should see how proud she looked!!!

Mary

Yay on the inchstone! I don't have any BTDT advice specifically but it would make sense that she's a bit more resistant now.

Well, my dd is younger than yours, but since she has gotten bigger she doesn't roll from bell to back anymore even though she did it consistently from 3-5 months. Her PT thinks its because there is more of her to roll now.

Congrats on bearing weight on her legs! We have a long way to go there.
