Good Morning!<br><br>
(I don't have children...so this is just for me.)<br><br>
I have quite a bit of canned (free-range GOOD GOOD GOOD) chicken broth that my friends and I made/canned.<br><br>
I KNOW that I should be drinking some of it each day....how do Y"ALL make sure that you get enough?<br><br>

Oh my gosh - we use it in nearly everything! It's great for cooking veggies, it's the base for almost all of our soups, we cook pasta & rice in it...<br><br>
You get the picture. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"><br><br>
Basically if a savory cooked dish calls for water we substitute chicken stock.<br><br>
DH makes a batch about every two weeks and we never seem to have enough on hand! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol">

I use it, but not daily. Are you just trying to use it up, or is there a reason you want to consume it daily? Just curious...

I am trying to consume it daily. I KNOW how good it is for me...but just can't bring myself to just drink it.<br><br>
We have it home-canned in quart and pint-size jars.<br><br>

We also use it in alots of things....(I bought 4 cases of Pacific Naturals organic free rnage broth from the b-n-d store)<br><br>
The water in rice, veggies, it makes a wonderful deglazer and a "gravy" base.<br><br>
We also eat a TON of Matzoh Ball soup, which to me is wonderful....I use 2 qrts or chicken broth, half a bunch of celery, 1/2 lb chopped carrots, and then make the balls....It's a wonderful light soup, thats good in the winter or summer. We eat this at least twice a week...<br><br>
