I got a new cover last week, a beautiful Bizzy B Hive with a yellow inner. I've never had this problem with wool, even on my natural colored Aristocrat, maybe you could help me out!

Alex wore it for a few nights and it got a little damp (but not on the outside) so I hung it to dry as I usually do with my wool, I normally don't wash for at least 2-3 weeks. I noticed yesterday when I went to grab it it had a big brown spot where it had been damp with pee!!!??? And it was rough and really stinky, so I washed it and while it does not smell and it's not rough anymore, the brown pee spot will not come out!!! It's only 2 weeks only and so pretty- why would pee stain it!!?? What did I do wrong!? None of my other covers have done this....

What can I use to try to get the stain out....would sunning work???

Did you wash it by hand or in the machine? I find machine washing on gentle works best for my wool covers. I haven't tried sunning for fear of shrinkage!

I always hand wash cause I am too cheap to run a whole cycle for just one or two covers! :

I washed it really well but the stain is still there and not very nice looking on that soft lemon yellow :

Any other ideas??
