I got my baby so much stuff because I kept finding good deals on Amazon (like 75% off and free shipping). So I sorta went crazy. Here's a couple of things that I came across that I didn't really think of before I started shopping.

Blocks shape sorter
Hammer and peg set
Tangrams
Popcorn popper push toy

Good luck, there's a lot of stuff out there, and I think you never know what your baby is going to like until you buy it. I've bought tons of toys, but my baby prefers empty water bottles.

We got dd several wooden block sets from HABA and early learning toys from Plan Toys like shape sorters and hammering toys, and she still plays with them over a year later.

Music instruments and push/pull toys are also a great idea!

For Ella, since she has all of her big sisters toys as hand-me-downs, she didn't really NEED anything, but I got her:

small (about baseball sized) texture balls
board book
toothbrush
organic cloth bunny (from whole foods)
and I made her a knotty baby from obv (soooooo soft!)

For her stocking she is getting some organic snacky type things she doesn't normally get, like puffed cereal, cereal bars and teething biscuits.
