So, I'm wrapping up my course of 17P Hydroxyprogesterone injections with my prenatal home health care nurse, and I'm looking for some meaningful gift ideas. My DH told me to just buy her a restaurant gift card, but she's been in my home weekly caring for me and this little baby, and I think a gift like that is just too impersonal for our relationship.

I know teachers generally say no to more mugs and candles. I'm wondering if there's anything I should specifically avoid as a gift for a nurse? I imagine a good gift idea would be something similar to a doula or midwife gift, but I'm at an absolute loss. I'd REALLY appreciate some help! (And while I appreciate her immensely, we are on a budget, so I'm looking at sticking to a $50 range.)
