I was thinking last night that I should get gifts for the women throwing my shower, but then I wanted to get gifts for the grandparents, gifts for my three born kids, gift for my partner (its a co-ed shower) etc...

Should I?

And if yes, then what?

I was thinking potted flowers for the hosts. Picture albums for the grandparents. I have no clue what to do for my partner and kids.

Hmmm....that is really very generous of you! I think "protocol" suggests getting the host"ess" a small gift (potted plant is great!) but no obligation to get others a gift!

That said, I really love the idea of getting siblings and DH something when the baby is born. I actually have a huge stash of things for DS right now (some to help occupy him after baby is born, but his birthday is soon after....) and I also plan on getting DH a dvd he has been wanting (to help occupy him too LOL, actually as a thank you since he will be taking good care of DS and momma and baby).

Maybe you could wait until the birth to give those gifts?

That sounds like such a lovely gesture! How sweet of you! I just wanted to say so as I don't have any ideas for exactly what you should get 'cause I'm usually pretty bad at gift getting decisions.
