Hi all -

My ds has been getting quite car sick recently and we're going to Florida in a couple of days. I've decided to try ginger water in case the plane is a problem and also for driving around down there. I bought some ginger root but have to confess I don't know what to do with it! :

Thanks for any help!

Did you buy fresh raw ginger root?

If yes, you can cut it into little pieces, boil it in water, and have him drink the tea. You probably want to sweeten it with some honey or sugar first.

I personally find that crystalized ginger (made with sugar, the texture of candy) is a better choice to keep in a car, travel with, etc.
