I normally do not post shootings because some of it is just so hard to read. This story just seemed so extreem.

http://www.allheadlinenews.com/articles/7009365799

Once at the gas station, Tillie became enraged that Aisha Ford, a family friend also in the vehicle, was taking too long to get gas and proceeded ...

Sorry for not addressing this concern quicker for those who were concerned:

Both the mother and the girl survived. The girl is in critical condition as far as I know right now but miraculously is expected to recover, not fully, but at least recover.

(sometimes when I am online here, it is only through my phone. It is very difficult to text from it. So while it may appear I am online, it is more as a read only situation.)

Brave girl. I do think you should post that both the Mom and daughter are alive. I saw this on CNN and didn't want to click on it because I was afraid of the outcome.

Now... what I want to do to the boyfriend who shot the Mom and had no qualms about shooting her 7 year old daughter SIX times who tried to protect her Mom is so much of a UA violation... it's not funny.

What an incredibly brave little girl. I hope she has an excellent recovery - those are serious injuries.

As for the shooter. I'll have to call him a UAV, because even if we were allowed to call people names, I don't think I know any that really say what I'm thinking.

I can't imagine the guilt that the mama is feeling - not saying anything negative about her or any of her choices in the least - it's just I know how I'd feel....

Like, DD and I were walking on the ice the other day holding hands and I fell down. DD tried to help me up and ended up falling down as well, bonking the side of her face against the car as she did so, so she was ended up much more hurt than I was to begin with.

And I felt AWFUL for having put her in that situation, yk?

I'm just very sad for this family, and very proud of the little girl.

I hope this "man" is held without bail and sentenced to 200 years or so in prison (so even if he only serves 2/3 of his sentence he'll still never get out alive.)

My dad is a 9x felon and out of jail/prison. But my dad doesn't really have much to do with guns, and I know he would never do something this horrible.

You should feel proud (not guilt about her falling helping you) Mama of your lovely daughter.
