Gluten-free behavior changes?

So our doctor suggested trying our two year old ds on a gluten- free diet for several reasons (the biggest one involves his poo) and I've noticed an interesting side effect... He is suddenly... Happy... In a better mood. He listen and is sweet and loving and huggy which he never was before, and you can REASON with him now!~
Has this happened to anyone else?

how long before you saw changes? we've just started GF ourselves.
