I just got back from my 36-week appointment/NST. Baby looks great, very reactive, and I discussed some of my birth plan options with my OB/GYN. My biggest issue was avoiding the automatic epidural. I delivered at this hospital last time around, and when I showed up in active labor, they told me that they like to run an epidural for all VBAC patients and I was in no mood to argue at the time, so I went ahead and got one. But, my OB told me that he sees absolutely no reason that I should have to have an epidural unless I want one. Which is great! So I am going to include "no pain meds unless requested" in my birth plan, which I will have his signature at the bottom of. Yay!

In other news, I think this baby dropped.... I'm less out of breath all the time, everyone thinks I'm carrying lower, and my DH says I am snoring less.

Yay, Baby, but automatic epidural!?!? EEEYikes! Glad you got his signature and are feeling confident about the birth plan. Feels nice to breath easier, doesn't it?
