While pregnant and during DS' infancy, I read lots of good books on AP-ing, and have been following my instincts up until now. It's served me very well, I think. However, DS is almost 11 months and is starting to show some "opinions" about how things are done. Anyone have any good suggestions for books to read on parenting toddlers? Any favorites?

I think alot of this has to do with the fact that he is starting to walk, and is really gaining some independence.

There is "Unconditional Parenting", which I am dying to read. I am on a waiting list for the book.

Also, "The Aware Baby" or "Tears and Tantrums" or "How Children Flourish" By Dr. Althea Solter, can be bought, if your library does not have them @

http://www.awareparenting.com/

She has some good articles on the website to read, too!

Also, "Your Child's Self-esteem" is good, too. I forget the author's name.

Good Luck
