Winding Brook Lodge, in Stowe, is a wonderful, charming, rustic bed and breakfast. It's mostly individual rooms, but there is one suite with a kitchen and three bedrooms attached that's got a small kitchen, big fridge, etc. They're in the woods, have a pool, and the lodge is absolutely gorgeous. I got married there in 2001 and rented out the whole place. The breakfasts were great and the owner, Patrick is great too!
see www.windingbrooklodge.com for info.

If you want something a little more upscale, there's the VonTrapp Family Lodge in Stowe as well, which is beautiful. (Yes, that's VonTrapp, as in the Sound of Music.) There are lots of other great ski lodges that have conference facilities too.

Or, there's a great conference center that does tons of family reunions on Lake George, in the Adirondacks (just across the NY side from VT.) www.silverbay.org. It's rustic too but has loads of activities on site for all ages, some housekeeping cottages if you want to do your own cooking, or a full dining room. I worked there during my college summers and fell in love with the lake, mountains, etc. It's the kind of place people return to for the rest of their lives once they've visited.

Good luck!
