I had my 30 week appointment yesterday...Time is flying! I can hardly believe that I'll be there every two weeks now. It really hit home that this baby is going to be here...SOON!!

Anyway, the appt was good. THe baby is still breech which I'm not *too* worried about yet since ds was breech for a good long time (until about 34 wks, I think). But if I have to, I will go to The Farm to have this baby! That was our plan for ds if he hadn't turned

I had my GD test yesterday too. After weighing myself and learning I had gained 7 lbs in three weeks, I'm feeling a bit nervous about the results. So far I've gained 40 lbs! Ugh. I gained about 8 lbs in the four weeks before that...But I eat well, I really do! If I gain one pound a week until 40 weeks, it'll be the same weight gain I had with ds...but it still seems like a lot, yk? And I just love my MW, last time she just said "well, the baby must be having a growth spurt" :

Anyone else already on the every two weeks schedule? And wondering where the time has gone?!

I am only going to be 27/28 weeks on Friday (depends on who you ask) and I am already going every two weeks but that's because of the liver thing.

I am sure your test will be fine!! Weight loss was high with all of mine but this one and I never failed a GD test (had it with all three boys, but not this one). I think I gained 50-80 pounds with each of them. 20 of that was water at the end, but still, that's a high gain!!

We're on the two week visit schedule now - had my last visit last Monday and my next one next week. One more after that and then it's weekly!

I'm exactly where you are with weight gain, and was the same with DD. So I'm not too worried about it, and I declined the GD test, since I figured that I do eat pretty well and had no problems last time (of course, I declined the GD test then too).

We threatened to go to the Farm too last time when we lost our MW care at 37 weeks. We then considered UC. This put the MW services in a bit of a panic and they found some people to take us on. All ended well, but it is nice to know that the Farm is an option...

LOL. Yeah, I'm sure a lot of it is water since the day ds was born I lost 30 lbs!

My midwives move from four week schedules to three week unless there is a particular concern, so I have 2 more appointments before the one week schedule!

I don't know what I have gained exactly. I just know its a lot. I still look okay though, so I'm not too worried. I was pretty skinny when I got pregnant and everything spread out immediately.

Ohhh, weekly visits...that will be CRAZY! I feel like I still have TOO much to do between now and then.

So with you dd, who was there for your birth? A CPM, a DEM? Why did you lose your MW at 37 (!) weeks? I'm curious b/c there are some CPMs I could use locally for a breech baby, but The Farm has such a great track record with breech births...
