My dd loves needle felting- we took a fabulous fiber arts class and that was the skill that really grabbed her. She'll take any roving I'll spare and go to town. I would love to present her with a simple idea for a product, versus just playing with scraps. I loved the felted ball thread- she could wet felt first then needle felt designs. Any other suggestions? She has a baby sister coming in 3 weeks and would probably be inspired by a gift idea. I bought her a kit with a few projects, but it doesn't grab her.<br>

I teach needlefelting to kids and some of the favourite projects are:<br><br>
flat felting butterflies or scenes<br><br>
animals that start with an egg shape we have had a stripes tiger, octopus, spiders, fish, monkeys and more.<br><br>
People - starting with a cone like shape. If you look on my blog you will see some gnomes and a little person.
