I don't like any of the bar type snacks so I can't help you there, but I try to go for a balanced snack like:

* Yogurt with flax seeds or wheatgerm or fresh fruit on top
* apple and piece of cheese
* dried prunes to keep me regular
Those Kashi bars are great.

What about a Luna Bar? They have around 10 grams of protein in one bar!

Ok, I am eating one right now, I admit it. :
I like trail mix. It has nuts for protein, dried fruit, and I usually get the ones with some chocolate 'cause I like it.

Fruit is always good. I ate a lot of apples in early pregnancy because they were easy to carry around.

Yogurt is good, calcium and protein.

I did find a granola bar I liked with lots of almonds. It was sweet and salty.
My favorite to-go snacks this pregnancy (all high protein):

almonds - raw or roasted but not salted
almonds w/ dried apricots
almonds w/ dried cranberries especially ones with orange essence
almond butter sandwiches w/ either honey or raspberry jelly

Are you seeing the pattern?

1/2 cup of cottage cheese with mixed fruit (frozen - heat fruit in microwave for 30 seconds)
Clementines if I can find them

I'm trying to keep my bars to a minimum but like the Kashi TLC hard ones (almond! and other flavors) and the chewy ones with cherries and chocolate chips.
Ooooh luna bars! I luuuuuuuuurve those.

Actually the apples/cottage cheese or raw almonds/un-sulphured apricots sounds good. Almond butter sandwiches with honey.

I love these suggestions, if there's anymore out there, please post! I'm going to be printing these out. Right now it's been a big glass of V-8 for a snack. Which I love, but I'd like something more substansial.
