I think it would be great to share Homeopathic remedies people have found helpful.

I have found Belladonna helpful for fevers, sulfer for skin rashes, calundula for skin rashs and healing.

That is true! I just find it hard to dignose and treat. I have a few too many books and they all say different things so I get confussed. I have not found too many people in my area that use remedies. I think it is just a lack of information or care or knowledge on the area. I wish there were more people around that used them as I think they are great but need someone to brainstorm remedies with.

Which book to you use? How do you know what remedy to use? Do you see a practitioner?

I use Dana Ullman's Guide to Homeopathic medicines and Homeopathic Medicines for infants and children also by Dana Ullman (not positive on those titles(they are upstairs) but if you do a search on the author it will pull up).
We do see a homeopath b/c ds had a reaction to MMR and we have been treating him for that and very successfully I might add! I also have had great success too as a patient with beating bronchitis, a nasty sinus infection and a plugged lymph node under my armpit all cured by homeopthic rememdy. No antibiotics at all!!!

Chestal the homepathic cough honey is awesome during colds too....that is a combo of remedies so that you cannot miss with when you are not sure for the cough.

Most of the time I just go with my gut on what remedy to choose. SInce we have ben doing it a while there are just a few that I know I can pull out to give myself or ds when acold or something minor comes along but I still refer to the books for home treatment. Anything else we put a call into our homeopath.

Oh Arnica is awesome too for bumps bruises and ouchies, and Apis for bee stings.
