Something for me and baby, comparable in price/long-lastingness/good-smelliness to a biggish bottle of J&J baby wash, but minus the sodium laurel sulfate, etc.

I also used to buy the all-natural toothpaste but now I forgot what kind I bought that had NO gelatin-type products....and I *know* it wasn't much more than 'normal Walmart' toothpaste, whatever it was. I was looking at the health food store last week and the stuff they had was 5 bucks a tube...

And where would I get things like tea tree and lavender oils? People have recommended them for cd use to keep stink away.....

walmart here carries toms of maine toothpaste and mouthwash for much cheaper than the HFS. they also have tto. i have been satisfied with the quality of that. it has the right C/T ratio.

as for body wash, nothing beats dr bronners. i love the almond one, but you could get the unscented one for baby. look online for the gallon size, or the bronners site now sells the smaller bottles and $20 worth gets you free shipping. oh, and if you have one of those wall dispensers in your shower, you can cut the bronners in half with water. i found that to be the easiest way. a pump bottle makes it splash all over when its that liquidy, but in a hanging dispenser, you can just put a pouf or washcloth underneath.

I use natural olive-oil soap for my hair and skin. I brush my teeth with olive il and peppermint oil. I use the same olive-oil based soap for my daughter's bath, with some baking soda sprinkled in.

Essential oils can be found at glorybee.com, brambleberry.com or mountainroseherbs.com

Well toothpaste is to clean teeth and freshen mouth, right? Who says it has to come in a tube?
I have a small squeeze bottle with flip-spout that I have mixed olive oil and peppermint essential oil. I use this to brush my teeth. I suppose I could add a bit of baking soda to it, never thought of that until now.

Flossing is more important than brushing, as between your teeth is hard to get to with a brush, and that is where the stuff gets caught anyways. Of course easier said than done, I am not a very good flosser, but I'm working on that.

I didn't pay attention to what they're charging for it, or whether they have the baby stuff.....but.......the thing is, I'm a member and I can get them to order the baby stuff if they don't have it! I am going to buy a bottle next time I go........cool!
