Hi everyone,

We're venturing into the world of hemp fitteds for summer, since it gets so hot here. I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions on nice summertime covers to go with them...All the different cover fabrics are leaving me a little confused, since we're usually AIO/Pocket people around here.... ("Pocket people"--that sounds like a cult, doesn't it?

TIA!

Wool is definitly the best -- breathable and cool (and warm in winter too). Fleece is also good as it is breathable as well though not a natural fiber but it is a bit easier to care for than wool since its machine washable and wool has to be hand washed. Though of course wool is anti-microbial so you dont have to wash it very often.

Are you even more confused now!?

I adore wool for summer as well. But if you want something trim and breathable to wear under clothes (and cheaper as well), try breathable-poly Nikkys from www.babyworks.com or Bumpy Day covers from www.naturalbabies.com. They both keep my babe cool in the heat when worn with his hemp or organic cotton diapers!

I have let Sammy go coverless--which is very nice and breathable. I just snappied a cpf on him and he was good to go. ANd he didn't get me or anything wet either. Just a thought! I am sure you could go coverless with the fitted as well.

Thanks everyone! Looks like I need to check out some wool!

If anyone is still reading, could you tell me the difference (if any) betw. a wool cover and a wool soaker? It's probably obvious, but it's late here...
