Question 1: Do you feel movement?
Question 2: Aprox how many weeks are you?

I should know, but I don't. I *think* I have movement. I was actually more certain earlier on. Now I have no clue... is it the baby, gas, my imagination, my muscles? I need a good thump! (Of course I get them, but not in my uterus... like the little muscle twitch in my upper abdomen where the baby isn't or in my thigh or in my neck.)

I felt something that I really thought was movement last week. It was in about the right place and felt like someone tickling by belly from the inside. That's the only one I was really convinced about. I'm 13 weeks. With DS I I didn't feel movement until 20 weeks...

Claire, like you if feel muscle/gut twitches in my upper abdomen where the baby isn't...

I'm pretty sure I'm feeling movement. I've been feeling it for a bit more than 2 weeks (16 weeks now). It's only on the left side, though, which now makes sense after seeing that the placenta is parked over on the front right side.

The odd thing, though, is that these movements feel different than they did at first with Karen. With Karen, I would get a wave of wooziness along with the motion, maybe because she was swimming and twirling instead of just kicking? That started at ~14 weeks, but I wasn't sure until 16 weeks that time. Karen had an anterior placenta.

At 16 weeks the baby only weighs about 3 oz, so there's not much weight they can throw around yet to give you a good thump.

#1 Yes, I do feel movement -- mostly at night when I am quiet and lying down -- and dh even felt some the other night!

#2 I am 17 weeks (and this is baby #3 if it makes a difference)
I felt movement around 14 weeks but not too much and not too regularly --even now I really have to be concentrating on it

I'm feeling movement. I'm 16 weeks. I first felt it at 14 weeks. It's still very hit or miss - and sometimes I'm not sure if it's baby or something else. But usually about once each day there is undeniable baby movement - especially after sex...then it's a party in there
It's always on the same side - as it was with ds - so I'm thinking my placenta must be on the other side - as it was last time.

I heard you feel it earlier if you've had babies before. These are my first, so i'm clueless! I'm 14.5 weeks now....so it wouldn't be unheard of, but there's too much else going on inside for me to discern what's what. And you're right, Geofizz...they're still so tiny that's you'd really have to know what the feeling is like to be able to look out for it!

i've been feeling more pressure that comes and goes...sort of feels like what rolls felt like with DS. i've felt some weird sharp thuds that feel more like electrical shocks sometimes on the left side, uterus level...but i'm not sure what that is. i THOUGHT i'd felt something before, but i'm thinking it wasn't actually baby.

i didn't feel anything with DS until wk 18. i'm 16wks right now

I was feeling movement last week, having finished my 14th week. There was one little thump smack in the right place that was very soft and subtle, and I am feeling lots of action.

My uterus is getting bigger by the day. Yesterday morning, I was poking around its edges, and it just popped up before my eyes. Dying for it to pop out of the pelvic area to give my baldder a short vacation.

I feel the knowing kick coming along in the next 10 days for sure.

I'm 14 and 3 right now with my first and for the past two days I think I have been feeling little flutters. I have to be concentrating and quiet to feel it. I've noticed huge changes in the last few days as well, namely ligaments stretching and not feeling comfortable in my jeans.
My younger sister gave me a great visual to help understand what the first movements feel like...she said it is like when you buy a little fish from the pet store and they are in a bag to take home and the little fish is swimming or bumping into the sides of the bag. So be aware of little fish feelings :LOL

I remember with my first two I felt movement during the 16th week. I waited patiently through the whole 15th week -- nothing. Then last Monday -- my rollover day (put me at 16 weeks), I felt it! Strange how one day, nothing, the next day -- movement!

This baby must get around, though. I will have movement on one sad of my belly, then the next movement (an hour later or so) will be on the other side of my belly -- lots of room to roam!?

It sure is a good feeling, though!

I'm feeling movement, it's a little more definite now then it was a few weeks ago.
With my daughter I was feeling LOTS by this point and with this baby I'm feeling SO little!!! It's sporadic, subtle and most of the time I feel like I could go either way about it. Not so with my daughter at all. She was really letting me know.
Very, VERY different pregnancy so far.

I don't share weeks.
