My baker's dozen of Elbee hemp french terry diapers with matching doublers is here! They are so adorable, so trim, so soft. She did them with the scalloped serging and used multicolors for snaps and serging. They are so colorful and sweet. And the diaper covers are red/orange and blue/purple with multicolored snaps. This is the best fluffy mail I have ever gotten, and I am including my diaper garden in that assessment!

Also got my Sugarpeas organic sherpa wipes, which are the softest and cushiest things ever to be wiped across a baby's bottom.

Happy day!

I was number 25 -- and mine were supposed to mail a month ago or more. But I can say that it was easily worth the wait. I these!

Wow. These are kind of expensive. Are they really wonderful? I love my Fireflies for trimness. Are these that trim as Fireflies? If I try them I hope I don't fall in because I just ordered another half dozen Fireflies.

I looked on their site and couldn't tell if they're open for orders or not :

Oh, no, not another diaper to love.

Oh, I just looked again and it's in Canadian dollars.

There are so many choices.

Which do you all prefer? Which ones do you think would be as trim as Fireflies?

Thanks in advance for your help.

dabunny - you really can't order right now I think she closed orders. I ordered in MARCH! And here I am 6 months later hoping they'll come in a month.

I'm not trying to complain but 2 weeks ago she said they'd be sent out last week and that they were some of the first to be ready to sew. But if you just got order #25, then who knows when I'll get #38.

Oh, well, I guess that's a good thing. I don't really need anymore diapers right now. I do love my fireflies and my RBs.

Six months? That seems a little excessive. My son could be potty trained by then.

I have one firefly and the Elbees are definitely not as trim. But they are trim, and they are miles more absorbant than my hemp/cotton firefly. After two or three hours, my firefly is soaked all the way through. My Elbee is sometimes still dry on the outside. What a pleasure. And it still dries pretty quickly.

I will take pics tomorrow and try to figure out how to post them! They are sooooo cute.

Our small and medium El Bee Baby dipes are much trimmer than our large firefly diapers on my 17-lb six mos old. Our small firefly diapers were ultra trim, but Ellie just recently outgrew them. I'm number 80 or so and I may have a whole stash of medium firefly diapers by the time she gets to us.

My (well, formerly mine) small ElBees are trimmer than my small Firefly - but the small ElBees were outgrown a few weeks ago whereas my DD still fits into the Firefly. I wish I would've ordered a bakers dozen so my number would come up quicker

Tee, too funny that your DD fits in the firefly dipes but not the el bee baby. I guess that just goes to show that dipes fit different shapes better. Ellie outgres the firefly dipes in the thighs, but still fits the small elbee fine.

Just curious.....did you all pay for these diapers in advance? I emailed to see how long the waiting list was and she said 10 weeks. Maybe she's getting caught up?

Cool - I know her DH was going to start helping with cutting and biz stuff so she can get more output. So I'm glad to hear she's taking orders.

Nope you don't pay until she contacts you when she's ready to sew your order.

They're great diapers, you can't lose by placing an order IMO.

Ooops, I should have specified that I have an "old" style small Firefly - someone told me they run larger than the "new" style small Fireflies. Maybe they're like the soon-to-be mediums?
