This is my first experience with pocket diapers. I got 2 to try on Hannah for night time. I take them out of the package, and unsnap them to get a good look at them since I've never seen one before. The first one was fine, but the second one looked different to me. The snap had fallen apart, leaving the base snapped into the other part, and the cap left in my hand.

I guess I can't se what all the hype is about. They don't impress me much, but hopefully they will work and keep Hannah out of disposables at night anyway.

They aren't pretty to look at but they are functional! They make up the majority of my stash and we definetley couldn't live without them.

I agree with the pp ... they are not pretty, but they work! FBs are the only diaper I will use when we are going to be out and about a long time, they simply never leak, even when SOAKED. Not to mention they are super trim under clothing, Alex can wear anything with a FB under it.

Flaws can happen with any product. I love my FB's! Hopefully they will work well for your little one at night. We haven't had a leak in them yet.

Yea, they aren't the cutest thing, but they are workhorses, imo. You should contact the wahm, though about the broken snap; I think (not positive) that the snaps are guaranteed against breakage. You should be able to exchange that one.

me either. I don't like the fit. But you could probably fix that snap. I bought a berrypatch dipe on ebay and the same thing happened to me. luckily, I happen to own a snap press and I just snapped it back on. But I think some dipe companys say if that happens, just send it back and they fix it for free. Not sure if fb does that though.

I really like FBs. They work really well for us. About the snap thing. Did you buy these new? I had a snap break once and emailed MOE about it. They sent a replacement dipe immediately.

my very 1st fb came and the snap fell off too, but I contacted the lady who I bought it from and MOE sent a new one out very quickly. That really is my only problem and I have about 20 of them! Yes, they're definately workhorses! They're our 1st cloth diaper and I've been so impressed with them that only up till now am I venturing out into the "great beyond"! LOL!

I have never been impressed with FB's. They just don't fit ds well and he screams like I am trying to kill him when he see's one. Everyone kept telling me how well the fit under clothes, but to me they were really bulky and gave him a bubble but.

Yeah, depending on its condition, new or used can be completely different! If you bought it new, the snap should be easily replaced (probably with a new dipe)... if it was used, then no such luck, but you could contact whomever you bought it from.

And... new FBs have the softest fleece in the world. Of course with a used FB, the fleece is already pilled up and certainly doesn't look that impressive.

But they really are workhorses. I prefer a pf and cover myself, but dh loves the FBs and calls them 'his' kind of diapers even.

I think MOE will stand by their product even if it was bought used. I sold some used FBs on ebay once that worked perfectly but the person who bought them had problems and she called MOE and they said they'd replace them.

The fit of the FB is a strange thing. My dd has gone through periods where they fit her great and then she grows and they fit her wonky. We are in a wonky phase right now. I use my Wonderoos more. Still, the FBs are dependable and trim if you just stuff them with one joey bunz for going out.

I don't love my FBs, but they are very dependable! It's all we use when we go out. It holds in the poo and you can stuff it as much as you need. I just bought 5 for the next baby

I'm pretty sure MOE has a lifetime guarentee on their snaps.

I bought them brand new. I have contacted the person I bought them from, and she said to contact MOE and that the snaps have a lifetime guarantee.

I really hope they work for Hannah. I hate seeing her in a sposie.

I hope they end up working for you. They're not nearly as cute as fitteds and covers, IMO, but they fit DD great, are trim when you stuff w/ Hemparoos, and have never leaked for us, even at night. During the day, we just use 1 Hemparoo, but at night or on outings, we put a tri-folded microterry towel on top of a Hemparoo.

I find them to be very functional too! I use them when we go out and have never had a leak. And, with the MOE inserts they are pretty trim. Dh is addicted, so I have to have the available for him!

I have seen differences in workmanship though. I have one medium that is significantly smaller than all my others.

We we're not huge fans of FB. But recently they are making a mini come back here it seems. We always preferred Happy heinys for nighttime and still use them. But we are liking FB these days as well.

I have 1 Fuzzi Bunz and unfortunately it rarely gets used. I just don't like the way they fit Jack or Sara. I've never been very impressed with them either.
