I posted my birth story: http://www.mothering.com/discussions...d.php?t=503426
Before the birth, I had been wondering what to tell people to avoid uncomfortable situations regarding UC. I actually was mad at my mom and DH for telling the paramedics that it was unplanned, b/c I think they actually wouldn't have panicked so much if they had known I was prepared. I am essentially telling people that we had a fast unassisted homebirth, and when they ask about the m/w, I tell them that if we had bothered calling her, she wouldn't have even made it in time (which is true, b/c I had a two hour labor). I feel good about telling the truth, I hope it enlightens some people to the wonderful thing that is UC.
