ok it is like 87 here, it was over 85 all weekend -- less than 60 last week. :

I was NOT going to haul a big tote of non-pregant summer clothing up out of the basemenet -- i can't wear most of the shirts as they are not nurseing (my nurseing stuff is not sesonal -- it is all out all the time, i just don't have that much of it) and some of the shorts would already be too tight to be confy -- though I could get in them. so I got DH to bring up my tote of summer manerty clothing. ok the shorts are still a littel big.......but better one tote than two -- that would mean the non-preggo one would have to go right back down and this one come up anyway.

so i have on a drawstring sorts -- i can pull tight nogh DS doesn't pull off.... but i have a pouch of tummy area baggy-ness that i don't fill in yet. TG my shirt covers it.

i hate this in-between size.

I know what you mean! Except I'm already as big as a house so maternity clothes (the adjustable ones at least) fit pretty well. LOL.

I'm thankful I bought 2 pair of stretchy goucho pants last summer, they are small but stretch enough they fit me still, plus I just wear them low cuz my belly is kinda high this go round.

You're braver than I! I have lots of (heriditary) spider veins, this mama does NOT wear shorts. Know how most mom's save up for a boob job? I'm saving up for a lazer to get rid of my veins. LOL

It snowed last week here, and now this week it will be in the 80s all week too : I am so miserable when it comes to clothes right now - i can't fit comfortably into any of my non-maternity pants. I bought some empire-waist sundresses at Target last week and when at home thats all i wear. But I'm too selfconscious about my chubby, pale legs and flabby upper arms to wear them out just yet, so I've been doing the rubber-band trick with my jeans and hoping my shirts cover it up! Thank God the styles this spring are all the babydolll and empire waist kinds - I've found some totally cute tops in the Juniors area of Target that arent even maternity but are comfy and cute as heck.
Ive been to the store looking for some nice maternity capris with the belly band (not the panel) or the elastic sides, but I'm not finding anything thats even remotely attractive. Grrrrrrr.

i tried on some great maternity jeans at Babystyle yesterday, they were on sale for basically half off...they had a thick low-rise stretch waist instead of a panel, seemed really comfortable too (stretch denim).

i hesitated buying, as i'm still fitting into my regular jeans (at least until the end of the day/commute home when i have to undo the button) but I'm guessing I'll be back in a couple weeks.

I'm loving all the flowy non-maternity tops too!

i hate this in-between size too! i feel pretty funny in my maternity clothes- i wear my streatch pants at home, but am just not big enought to pull it off in public without feeling like a real phony. but my other pants are so uncomfortable! i have a few pair of pants that are too big so i have been wearing those, but the thing is, my body is just shaped funny right now and even they don't fit quite right.
i think i might head out to target to look at those shirts. if i could wear long shirts, i think the maternity pants would be fine.

I'm in the same boat, getting warmer here and I am still fitting in my regular clothes but most are uncomfy (I've only gained a couple of pounds). My problem is, I have never been preggo in the summer, and since I live in a seasonal climate I have no summer maternity clothes! I have to get myself out to buy some, but its still a bit too cool for true summer stuff, but a bit to warm for the maternity clothes I have! UGH, the in betweens! I think I am going to look for some drawstring type capris. Oh, I too love the empire waist style and babydoll stuff out this spring, that will help with the maternity clothes for sure!

they ain't perfect -- but if people don't want to see them they don't have to look

i get sooooooooo hot as Theo will NOT walk when i need him to or want him to -- now in a parking lot his is like James (I think he has been watching ) buttttttt on the big open area outside the Fed building -- we took daddy lunch -- nope won't walk there, or the big open, empty halls of the Fed buliding -- nope won't walk there -- so i am carrying him and bear everywhere.

i have some light cotton pants, but none of them would stay up to Theo's pulls yet.

I didn't ever really show with Theo due to lack of weight gain, SGA and other issues, at the Hopsital when i was in LABOR people kept asking "how early are you, they aren't stopping this" and I was 38 weeks. i left the hosptial in my normal jeans.

however this time i seem to be showing already.

took the first photos last night -- gotta see how they did.

i'm loving my old navy roll panel jeans - they have the roll down panel that is working great now at 10 weeks (3rd has baby made me outgrow button-pants quickly) and fit great - don't pinch my belly but aren't obnoxiously maternity. i discovered the style 2 years ago with 2nd baby, and am glad they're easier to find this time around. not sure who else carries the style besides old navy and gap, haven't really looked. found them on clearance though!!
this is the style if you haven't seen them- ultra-comfy and perfect for months!
http://www.oldnavy.com/browse/catego...5&clink=411025
