We had an ultrasound today. The little one measures exactly 6 weeks and 1 day. And had a heart beat of 115. So I'm now graduated.<br><br>
Now is the tough part. I want a homebirth but I'm in Georgia. There aren't many homebirth midwifes in my area. I'll probably also use an OB so my insurance can pay for any tests.

I just moved from GA, so I'm pretty familiar with the laws there. By law, only CNMs can conduct homebirths (the state doesn't license CPMs), and to my knowledge there are no CNMs currently doing homebirths. HOWEVER, there are CPMs around (if you don't mind paying out-of-pocket), and there is an AWESOME birthing center near Savannah (not sure where you are, but it might be an option).<br><br>

The RE that I'm seeing continues to do everything up until 10 weeks. The one I saw years ago stopped at 12 weeks. Strange how they all have a different cut off.

I am surprised there is nothing in Atlanta which if I remember correctly is a little over an hour drive to you from Flowery Branch.<br><br>
You are close to "The Farm" in TN. Well, probably not super close but to give birth Ina May Gaskin would be so AWESOME.<br><br>
