Is grapeseed oil ok? I use it a lot - I like its absence of flavour and high smoke point. I know nothing of how it's produced, although I did see a documentary on traditional production in Italy from the waste from wine-making, the results looked quite different from the stuff I get, and apparently cost a lot more than the $8.99/litre that I pay. So - give me the straight dope - what's wrong with my favourite oil?<br><br>
(and if it's ok - to the person who posted the "my mayo tastes like EVOO" thread - grapeseed oil makes nice mayo.)
