Let me first explain about our family. We are unschoolers and my children are7 & 4. We recently decided as a family to cut back on red meat and dairy. Since moving into our new home, I've found that my kids love to "graze".

For example, they will eat oatmeal at breakfast, a few hours later have some grapes, an hour later a cheesestick, then we have sandwiches for lunch, then they will grab an apple or carrots, then we will eat dinner - most of the time its a sit down dinner.

The kids don't seem to mind and they burn things off like crazy. I like this schedule because it helps keep my blood sugar level, instead of waiting 6 hours to eat something.

Does anyone else graze? Or eat 5-6 small meals a day?

My kids are grazers for sure; nibble on veggies, fruit, cheese and toast all day long. Our meals are just another snack for them... had grilled chicken breasts and corn on the cob last night; each kid had an ear of corn and one had a couple bites of chicken. For breakfast this morning we had a fresh from the garden cantelope drizzled with plain yogurt. One kid ate half a melon, the other had a few pieces, then both were ready for a sandwich when they finally tore away from outside to come in and eat again
I just go with their needs.
