I need some help finding some great science books. Curriculum, encyclopedia, or stand alone. I really like the history series "the story of us" by joy haim? I just ordered that and am now on the hunt for science material. Thanks
Do you mean that you ordered A History of US (her history series) or The Story of Science (her science series) by Joy Hakim? If you meant the US one, then, uh, how about the science one? <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"><br><br><a href="http://www.joyhakim.com/science.html" target="_blank">http://www.joyhakim.com/science.html</a>
LOVE Hakim's Story of Science over here. That's my 1st recommendation.<br><br>
I have a few science book lists saved to my computer:<br><br><a href="http://www.nsta.org/publications/ostb/" target="_blank">http://www.nsta.org/publications/ostb/</a><br><a href="http://www.science.org.au/pi/goodbooks/index.htm" target="_blank">http://www.science.org.au/pi/goodbooks/index.htm</a><br><a href="http://www.pennygardner.com/sciencebks.html" target="_blank">http://www.pennygardner.com/sciencebks.html</a><br><a href="http://www.homeschoolchristian.com/curricula/science/books.php" target="_blank">http://www.homeschoolchristian.com/c...ence/books.php</a><br><br>
