I'm not a mom (we're trying to get pregnant, which is why I'm here) but I wanted to post this to say *thank you* to all the moms who have kept their sons the way they were made.

My husband is intact... and speaking as a wife, am I glad he is.
I will never circumcise my boys, if I am lucky enough to have them. I can't believe this country endorses such a barbaric custom, often without even thinking about it - especially now that I know all the good things a foreskin can mean, when your son becomes a husband!

So - thank you to the moms and dads who buck the trend and keep their sons whole. Their wives will thank you some day!

ps - when my husband was 8, his mom explained circumciscion to him, and gave him the option of it... he ran out of the room screaming "NOBODY'S GONNA CHOP ME!" In case you were curious what your son might say....

That is so funny about your dh's response to circumcision when he was a boy. That would be my response too!

I hope you get blessed with a child soon. I always hope for boys for intactivists, haha.

Please stick around and feel free to ask your questions and participate!

Thank you so much. It's nice to be appreciated here. We do work hard to get information out. It's refreshing to hear of those who really "get it".

And moms and dads, your sons will be eternally grateful for your decision to leave them intact. I believe that was one of the BEST decisions my mother ever made concerning my body. I regret that I did not tell her that while she was alive, but my parents did not talk about such things with their children then...
