I'm pretty sure I got this idea from a Mothering magazine a while back but DH and I finally tried it out a few nights ago and it worked like a charm!

Logan gets really stuffed up at night and the only thing that seems to work is sitting with him in the bathroom with the hot shower running to loosen the mucous and then suctioning it out. Then we have to get him back to sleep. We've been doing it almost every night since he was born and it sucks.

A few nights ago I remembered a tip from Mothering Mag and put a few drops of BM in each nostril, waited a few mintues and suctioned all that yucky snot right out.

He wasn't happy about it but it was much less disruptive than sitting in a bright steamy bathroom for 20 minutes.

Another great use-
dry hands!
My hands get super dry at work from washing and drying doggies all day, so when I pump during breaks my hands get rehydrated!!

good for pink eye or goopy eyes as well! i cured my own pink eye with it with with DD1.

also good for cuts and scratches to clean them if you have nothing, soothing and has anti-bacterial/anti-viral properties (i think).

DDs belly button was a little moist still after the cord fell off and bleeding a bit and i squirted some in there at each diaper change as well!
