green breast milk

the last batch of milk i pumped and froze had a very distinct green tint.(my son is 7 mo. now)has anyone experianced this or know why its green?

That's odd... Are you taking any green supplements? Have you eaten anything green?
Green in anticipation of St. Patrick's Day??? Sorry - couldn't help it...

I don't know why it's green, but I feed my DS donor milk and I've seen almost every shade under the rainbow. Some looks yellow, some looks blue, some looks green, some looks gray...it's all normal. At 5 mos, DS is almost 20 lbs and over 28" tall, so it must be fine!!!

Cool. Did you eat something with a strong food dye, blue Gatorade or something? Tinged BM is normal.
