I make a wonderful key lime pie for easter season and would like to dye it a little bit green so it looks "limey". Otherwise it is an ugly yellow.<br>
Are there any alternatives?

i think liquid chlorophyll would do a pretty good job.

chlorophyll is what causes plants to be green, liquid chlorophyll is basically an extract. you can probably find it at your local health food store.

forgot to mention, sometimes they are flavored, so be sure you get one that is unflavored so you don't end up with minty key lime pie (although that might be tasty like a mojito, i'm not sure you would be too happy about that or not?! lol)

I was going to say a little pure spinich juice grind the raw spinch or us a mortar and pestal to crush it - just a little should add alot of colour and souldn't flavor it.
