HELP! I have been making broth for years in a crockpot or a stainless pot. It is always brown. Well I tried making it in a roaster oven and I am straining it--it is grey-greenish! I got the bones from the same place. Any insight appreciated!<br><br>

Okay--it seems that the enamel finish wore off from the black insert into the broth--YIKES! I will not be eating that! I will only use it for roasting meat on a rack or anything that does not touch that surface.<br><span>If the roaster oven broth method works for you then what roaster and liner are you using?</span>
