Okay, so I finally ground up the flax seed in the blender and now I look at it thinking, what do I do with it now? :LOL So, I'd love some ideas (so far, all I can think of is mix 1-2 TBSP in a bunch of honey and eat it up!
: I'd love some fun and tasty ways to get it into our bodies.

sprinkle it on all your food. Oatmeal, mashed potatoes, yogurt, salads, anything you like.... it realy is taste less.
I use my ground flax seed in homemade bread. My son likes his topped with a little cheese.

I've also used it in homemade pancakes, muffins, basically wherever a recipe calls for flour. I usually use half flour, half flaxseed. HTH!

Don't forget to add it to smoothies. Your kids won't know the difference.

Thanks for the suggestions!
One other question - can ground flax seed go bad? I've heard the flax seed oil can get rancid quickly, but haven't read anything about the ground flax seed. Does it have a shelf life before you wouldn't want to use it?

I'm not sure for how long but I know it lasts a long time in the fridge. You will more than likely use it up before you have to worry about it going bad.
