In the eternal search for the like minded, I stumbled across this message board. Let me just say wow! Topics that interest me!
I'm a Texan transplant, living in New Zealand these days, with my wonderful Kiwi husband (we got married on September 21st, I was 34 weeks preggers at the time!), and a Kiwi baby due on November 5th. We're planning a homebirth, and try to keep life in general as natural as possible.
I'm taking a semester off from University, as they call it here, where I'm studying psychology. I'm interested in child psych especially, though I'm not sure I'll wind up practicing it. After doing years of daycare, I'd like to know exactly how the little stinkers work!

Ah, what else...we're planning on using the gentle, attachment parenting methods of child raising, complete with co-sleeping, slinging, and cloth diapering.
I'm pagan, and my husband is "religiously non-committal", as I like to say.
Anyhow, I look forward to getting to know all of you!
