and we got to hear our little one's heartbeat. We brought our 3 y.o. with us and when the doctor put the doppler on my belly and the room filled with the sound of that beautiful heartbeat our DD said "Mommy! What is THAT noise?" when we told her it was the baby's hb she was super excited and told the OB that she was going to be a good big sister

Anyway, I was worried about meeting this OB based on some insider stories I've heard from nurses at the hospital (my cousin). It seems she has performed some unnecessary c/s in the past so I was quite concerned. After meeting her, I really liked her and she was very patient with us and thorough. She answered all of our questions and I was quite clear about the fact that I had a vaginal birth last time and therefore I expect to have one this time barring any major complications. I feel SO much better after that appt. and I feel very confident in my own birthing choices so I think that helps.

Overall it was a great appointment
