I'm really confused here.. its our first time growing sweet peas and they are doing very well. But the sugar snaps are covered with hair. Are these edible? I don't remember ever eating sugar snaps with hair on it...
In a related dilemma, I planted sweet peas in the same place as my edible snow peas and am so sad because I read that sweet peas arent' edible. Maybe you've given me the piece of information I need to search out the edible ones!
The short answer is...I've read in numerous places that sweet pea pods are not edible. I hope I'm wrong.
