We're the proud parents of two NICU graduates! Noel came home in March, but Simon, who has been sickly, didn't make it home until the end of May. His second surgery for HLHS is in July, but he's doing well and quickly catching up with Noel. Noel is huge!! At birth he was 1 lb 13 oz, and now, at 6 months 5 days, he's 13 lbs! Still not on the charts for a regular six month old, but for a three-month-old he's average. I've never been so happy to hear that my kid was "average"! Simon is still my bitty boy--7 lbs 8 oz, but he's had a hard time of it, and I'm just happy that he's alive. He's our smiley sweet little boy, and he loves cuddles, especially with his six and a half year old sister, Bean.

congrats and I have been wondering how your little guys are!!

I too remember that day when Maggie was "normal"!! The next few months the guys will catch up real quick and it neat to see brand new clothes that fit yesterday not today!!

I, too, have wondered often how your boys were doing. I am so glad to hear they are both home! I wish them lots of good health and please keep us posted as Simon's surgery approaches.
