any creative ideas for halloween costumes with a baby and mom (or even family theme??)

Some I was thinking of

Three Bears and Goldilock (we have a blond hair dd who is 3.5).

Winnie the Pooh Theme (Mom and baby in sling as the Kanga and Roo), Father as Owl, DD as Tiger or Piglet.

Scarecrows (mom as scarecrows and the baby is the crow??)

Need to think of simple ideas that we can make do with what we have around the house. I am not big on sewing costumes but can do simple sewing if needed.

Firefighter and Dalmation: all you need is a cheap plastic hat for Mommy and a dollar store raincoat, for baby you get a black sweat suit at Wal-mart and fabric glue on white felt spots

Mommy flower ( headband, green sweat suit) and baby bumble bees

DD and I always dress up together. We have been Tigger and Eeyore (store bought costumes), fairies (homemade), rag dolls (easy to make), the children's group The Wiggles - dd was Wags the dog (store bought dog costume that I doctored up), I was Captain Feathersword (homemade and really easy) and dh was Greg Wiggle (black pants and a yellow shirt with their emblem sticker on it - first time I've ever gotten him to dress up!). This year, we are being Pa, Ma and Laura Ingalls (homemade again).

We also thought about doing the Wizard of Oz this year.

What about vegetables? I saw a really cute picture somewhere of a mom with a baby in a green sling that was made to look like a pea pod and the baby to look like a pea!
