I'm going on a camping trip for 5 days. So I'm going to have to wash at least once
I'm wondering if any of you mommas know of any hand or machine washer that I could take with me? Or any other way to wash diapers while camping? I'll have access to plenty of running water, too.

We used a rubbermaid container. I used it as the diaper pail and also washed in it. I only did a few at a time. I used only baking soda and heated up some water with our campstove to make the water warm. I swooshed them around with an old wooden spoon and my hands. Then I dumped out that water and added fresh water to rinse them. I hung them to dry. I used prefolds and some thin fitteds. I used fleece liners to try to contain the poop. A few things I would do differently: use a little bit of earth friendly detergent to help clean them or some TTO. Wash every night (the less you wash at one time the cleaner they would get) or just use disposables. Our campsite did not have much sun and it took forever for the diapers to dry. Maybe flats would have been better. Thankfully we only camped a couple days at a time then visited relatives where I could use their washer. Also, check and see if there is a campstore near where you will be. Alot of them have pay washers.

We just got back from our first camping trip with two in cds. We only used flats with nylon covers and our regular night dipes. We had a tripod for over the fire and boiled the dipes. For soap we used sportswash. Flats dry so fast and clean so easy, I would definately do it again

I had one of those. I just threw it in the trash. See that black stripe in the middle. It is tape. It holds the two halves together. So needless to say, it leaked.
