I came across a recipe for body sugaring and I was wondering if anyone had tried anything like that (or a homemade leg wax) and could answer a couple questions:

*What recipe did you try?
*Does it work?
*What is it like (ease of use, level of pain, etc.)?
*How does it compare to store-bought waxing kits?
*Would you recommend it over shaving?

Thanks!

I've done sugaring. Its very sticky and messy and you have to get the recipe exactly right. It definitly works if you do the recipe right. The first strip you pull off is always the worst and there are areas that are more sensitive than others. Compared to the store bought waxes...hmm well they work the same. Some store bought are just as messy and some are cleaner it just depends. And for area's like arm pits, arms, toes, and bikini I 100% recomend it over shaving. But for legs...no. I only did it once on my legs and then decided to keep on shavin'. I used brown sugar and lemon. the recipe I saw said to use water but that didn't work for me. I say try it!
