I've put on about 10 lbs since my miscarriage in June ALL around my waist which is strange for me. My waist is usually small. I haven't been eating bad and I've been exercising but not as much as usual.

Anyone else experience this? I'm getting *VERY* frustrated!!!

I've put on a few extra pounds, and also right in the waste. Which is very unsual for me. I have never been what I would consider "fat" but I am not "skinny" either. And with each of my pregnancies, right after the birth, I have been right at or barely over (within 5 pounds) my pre-pgcy weight. Right now I am about 15 pounds heavier, and it is driving me mad!

I wish I could figure out why.

Thank God I'm not the only one!! I thought it was just me. I've gained about 10 lbs in the last 4 weeks (again all in the waist) and it certainly shows when I was only 110 a month ago! But to me, I feel more bloated than anything. I guess our bodies are still trying to adjust. Hopefully it will come off as quick as it went on! Good luck to you, ladies.

Yes!

I attribute most of mine to eating like I'm still nursing a toddler, stress, stress eating, and ice clinking in more glasses than usual. Throw in a marital meltdown and I'm 20 pounds over my prepregnancy that miscarried weight. It's been three years and I haven't changed it yet.

Me too. But then again, have the tendancy to turn to food for comfort, so it's no surprise.

OMG, yes, exactly like you said. All around the waist. And I am small as well, usually a size 4. Im lucky to fit into a 6 now. I've only gained 12 lbs, but it is all in my belly. I def have not been eating more, if anything, less.

I have also gained weight...more stress related due to the miscarriage....now I am aware of it, so I plan to start exercising and eating better

it is tough. our bodies are just adjusting to being pregnant and then we loose our babies and now we are adjusting again

I gained a few pounds also after my m/c. It is just such a sucky time that I didn't want to do anything *right*...
