Since it's getting warmer and I want ds in natural fibers as much as possible (we tend to use a BG pocket at night and/or for going out), I have gone back to mostly all prefolds and wool covers. So, I decided we needed some new of each. I bought a couple very pretty tie dyed covers from The Tiny Heiny, plus 6 plain/white (though peroxide whitened instead of bleached) from GMD. I also bought 2 Bumpy wool, 2 Sugarpeas wool, a Disana soaker, a pair of shorties from Green Mountain Wee Woolies, a pair of shorties from Llamajama, and a pair of shorties and embroidered t-shirt combo from mr. and miss lil pocket pants. And I still want to buy more! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/duck.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Duck">: <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/redface.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Embarrassment"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"> I must be stopped from buying any more wool!!! Plus I want to get some more dyes from Dharma Trading so I can dye some more prefolds. I love cd'ing in warmer weather ... so much more fun than in the winter when everything gets covered up. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngtongue.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Stick Out Tongue">

ETA: Our washing machine broke two weeks ago and it took over five days for them to bring in the new machine -- I didn't run out of CDs. I could have even gone another day. Too many diapers.

I am trying prefolds for my next baby (first time cd'ing a newborn an dpockets are just too pricey for that period) and can't even decide on prefolds. I have um, more dozens than I need headed my way. And covers. And baby isn't coming til Sept.<br><br>
And then I figured, why not start prefolds and covers with my toddler son? To get practice? So I bought more in larger sizes. I'm thinking I should sell some of my 20 dipes of pockets/aios. I didn't know even prefolds would be addictive.<br><br>
I only bought a little wool though. I want to try more if it works out. Are you going to use them in the summer as shorties?

We tend to go wool or coverless during the summer. Once in a while I'll grab a pul cover, but it gets so hot that I'd think pul would be uncomfortable. So, its usually wool shorties or soaker, or a wool wrap with a t-shirt. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngbiggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="orange big grin">

Yes, I have cycles of crazy diaper buying. Since DP and I decided to have another baby I can use the excuse that I need to find the "perfect" diaper for the next DC. I'm quite lucky to have a DP who doesn't care how many dipes I buy <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/loveeyes.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Loveeyes">: I just learned to knit, so now I'm buying wool like crazy, too. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/winky.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink">

Yeah I stopped buying for a while (and instead bought slings), but with this one on the way, it's started again.<br><br>
I've been trying to knit for ages, and now I have the incentive to finally finish something. I love fuzzi bunz, but really wanna try pf's and wool for this one. I'd love to have some cute longies to just wear as pants all winter.

I'm new to CD (Morgan is my first) and I'm so hooked! I'm going nuts buying more, researching new dipes, anticipating the shipments. It's insane.<br><br>
I started innocently enough with the Motherease OS 12 pack. Then bought a 3 pack of Haute Pockets. In a fever pitch, I bought a 3 pack of Bum Genius, then decided I *must* buy some new covers to go over the ME to make them just as cute as the Pockets.<br><br>
Now here I am, online again, researching which other ones I intend to buy. I only have 18, is my rationale. I need at least 10 more, probably Pockets, OS. And of course new covers. I *must* have a new cover for every ME diaper change.<br><br>
And now I'm learning to knit, so she can have wool soakers, pants and baby legs.<br>
I dont see The Madness ending for quite some time. And then it will be onto baby number two.<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngtongue.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Stick Out Tongue">

I've spent about $500 in the past month on diapers <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/redface.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Embarrassment"><br>
But both DS 1 outgrew his Larges and DS 2 outgrew his Smalls...<br>
I said to DH, "I hereby solemnly swear that I will not buy any diapers for the rest of the summer... I just bought 2 more. After saying that I really don't need as many as I currently have <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/duck.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Duck">: I do have a few I don't reach for very often, so I think I will sell those off to defray the cost of the new ones. I also bought a few doublers, but I don't count those towards my CD costs!
