i was wondering because i recently stopped taking fenugreek and i feel less full...even though i don't appear that way. i was taking so much fenugreek that it was literally seeping through my pores. is it possible to become immune to it? the reason i stopped is because i stopped feeling like my supply was increasing. *sigh* i'm really frustrated because i'm worried ds isn't getting enough. he's really small and i feed him like crazy but he is just not gaining weight. i DO NOT want to supplement. what should i do? does mother's milk really work? i thought about trying that.

Fenugreek is most often suggested taken WITH Blessed Thistle. (3 capsules of each 3 x a day). Maybe try that. There may be other herbs/foods that help increase milk supply, but the only herb suggested in the Breastfeeding Answer Book is the Fenugreek/Blessed Thistle combo. Hang in there, mama!!
